Valentines Day

Its already passes, but should it be a real holiday? I think its a good idea in theory, but it does not correlate with what love actually is. What is love ask you? Well obviously there is no one definition, but one thing is certain. It relies on spontinaity. Lets say I have a girlfriend (or a boyfriend, to appease the agey peeps)to show her I love/like/have feelings for her, I would do at random times, because that shows that I often think about her, and I'm not obligated to do nice things for her. This why Valentines Day is no good. Im schedualed to buy me hypothetical girlfriend flowers, or jewlery or thongs. Thus, valentines day has nothing to do with love, but is a mere scam to get you to buy candies, and leingere. Perhaps I feel this way because I know that nothing good happens to me on Valentines Day, and its an upseting day for me, but I still feel that this is true. -Peter
